January 22, 2009 (Nashville, TN) – Music industry veteran Jeff Adams announces the launch of 2:20 Entertainment Group, a company providing an alternative business model within the music trade.

Recently expanding his management company, which is home to Warner/Curb artist Group 1 Crew and other acclaimed artists, Adams’ 2:20 Entertainment combines the talents of experienced independent companies throughout the industry. Named after Bible verse Galatians 2:20 which relates an unreserved commitment to Christ, the umbrella-structured 2:20 Entertainment provides artists everything a conventional record label offers in addition to other services, including management, business affairs/contract negotiation, booking, merchandising and more.

“We are here to lead others to Christ and we are dedicated to creative excellence,” explains Adams. “The best way to accomplish this is to pray with the artists, helping them to set and make their visions a reality, and by providing the artists with professional services within a business model that’s financially sound.

“To better connect with fans, we have put together a team of veterans under one umbrella that understand culture and climate demographics. This allows us to better dedicate our efforts toward creative excellence and ministry without all the overhead.”

With shared headquarters in Lakeland, FL and Nashville, 2:20 Entertainment is jointly owned and operated by Adams, who will also provide artist management support through the company.

Additional divisions of the company offering a wide range of industry experience include:

Jonny Grand Films & Media, a video production company that has worked with many renowned artists including TobyMac and newsboys;

Cinder Entertainment, a booking agency currently representing national and international standouts including Martha Munizzi, Everyday Sunday and Ricardo Sanchez, among others;

Metro Music Promotion, a radio promotions company owned and operated by Martin Lovelace, who worked with numerous mainstream pop acts including The Black Eyed Peas before moving to Nashville to serve such artists as Natalie Grant, Selah and Jamie Slocum, among others;

Shamrock Media Group, owned and operated by Chris Chicago, will additionally focus on radio promotions. Chicago has garnered radio success for artists including Pillar, Plumb, Red, Rush Of Fools and many others;

Inertia Sound Studio, founded by Lakeland, FL student minister Conrad Johnson in January 2007, is a 1000 square ft. recording facility tailored for artists that desire an atmosphere of worship and freedom to create;

Steve Weaver has been a solo practitioner of entertainment and intellectual property law for more than 25 years, providing counsel from Nashville’s Music Row to songwriters, publishers, recording artists, artist managers, record labels, concert promoters and filmmakers in the Christian, country and pop music fields.

“The exciting thing about 2:20 is that it's artist-centered and the purpose is to offer the guidance necessary so that each artist can pursue the ministry God has directed them to carry out,” explains Metro Music Promotions’ Lovelace. “Each element is a-la-carte so the decision falls to the artist to choose the tools that meet their needs and help them reach their goals.”

2:20 Entertainment currently has seven artists signed to its roster, including major-label artists Group 1 Crew (Warner/Fervent) and Chris Taylor (BEC/EMI), along with nationally renowned independents Nathan Walters, Chris & Conrad and The Vow, among others.
